Night Skin by New Vitality- wear to bed, got on my pillow and burned my eye areas
I purchased a product called Night Skin by the company New Vitality. It does state on the product to avoid applying to eye areas.
I did that. You are supposed to wear it to bed as there is something about the night and sleeping that helps it work better. Even though I avoided putting it near my eyes, wearing it to bed, caused some of it to get onto my pillow. Then of course, my eyes were on my pillow and those areas got badly burned because of the glycolic acid in the product.
This company did not even put a warning label regarding the glycolic acid. This product should be pulled off the market.
They say you notice more youthful skin within a week. Lie- I noticed nothing after two weeks.

I just deleted my credit card number from my account, I hope that prevents autoship from happening again. Those GD bean counters are always trying to figure out how to make more money. F them!
@Emilarthur
Every company with trial offers signs you up for future shipments. EVERY ONE. It's why companies give trials. And although the products are extremely overpriced, just as with auto-ship this is true of every company, it's called capitalism. If you don't like it get out and move to socialist Europe, you commie ...(you'll be better off for it though.) The scam of New Vitality is that they specificly take advanatage of the elderly and ethnic minorities (though again alot of companies do, this one just specilizes in it.) It doesn't help either that the products work mainly by placebo effect, although if you knew enough to pay attention to ingrediants you would know that before you bough it (can't believe I almost fell for your bed bug spray commerical, peppermint oil, really? lol that might as well call it scam not scram.)
More importantly than being a scam, New Vitality illegal breaks verbal contracts by saying you have 30 days fom when you get it and they send it out 30 days from the day you place the order (totally ignoring our post strike by-the-way!) If I could get though to the customer service number I'd love to know what department manager Marcus has to say about that...but like any company with a trial that's impossible.
The moment you say "okay" or "yes" when you are read the autoship program you have authorized new vitality to debit your account. My advice is to listen to what is being said, sometimes its mandatory sometimes it is not.
@Don
I believe some products do as what they say they would not just the night creme (which most people say it burns) so dont be close minded on other products. Virtually all inbound order takers dont make claims saying it WILL work for you. They use clever words like may, most, should, could, help.
@ New Vitality CS rep
Maybe you should mention the hours of cs since they don't really work for most people... Monday to Friday (ONLY) 9:30am to 1:00pm and 1:30pm to 6:00pm which really rules out most customers unless they take a day off to cancel or ask for help. It does make us consumers a little concerned when we cant get a hold of anybody making us feel like New Vitality is a scam as some people think.
I, too, falsely believed the Night Creme was legitimate advertising. This is just another one of the fake products that don't work.
I avoided the eye area when applying the creme only to wake up each morning with puffy eyes that had become irritated from the creme during the night. The 800 number was just an exercise in stupidity on my part.
After trying for two days and several hours, I called the 631-777-**** number in New York. I wouldn't waste money on any of their products!
To Emilarthur,
I am deeply concerned over your unfortunate comments; we have a very large customer base and when things like this happen it often makes us wonder how it did and what can be done to resolve the situation. To assure quality for our Sales and our Customer Service Representatives we do record our telephone conversations in order to find any fault if any on our offerings.
We do not automatically apply a charge and shipment to your credit card after the first order has shipped, that will only happen if you desire to get a discount on future orders by signing up for our "Super Saver Program". I would like to get your order information to research your problem and try and both satisfy you as a customer and possibly learn if there was any fault on our representative side by listening to the calls when they came into our center. We value you as a customer and never want you to have any dissatisfaction. Please call our Customer Service Department and speak with our department manager Marques, that phone number is 1-80*-***-**** and his extension is 1236. I promise that we will do everything possible to make you a happy customer.
Thank you.
